Thai Style Beef Goujons

Thai Style Beef Goujons       10 Portions:

Ingredients:
1.5 kg. of Beef or, Veal (Tenderloin or, Loin Tip)
1/ cup of basil leaves, chopped (Chopped)
2 tea spoon of onion, chopped
2 tea spoon of garlic, chopped
1 tea spoon of ginger roots, minced
1 cup of flour, all purpose or, any other kind
4 eggs, medium, whipped & strained (Mixed with 2 tea spoon of cream)
1 tea spoon of wine vinegar or, lemon juice
1 tea spoon of brown sugar
salt-pepper
1 lt. of canolla oil

1 cup of carrots, fine julienne cuts, soaked in vinegar
1 cup of green onions, chopped

1 cup of sauce, mixed with (1/2 cup of mayonnaise,1 tea spoon of tabasco sauce, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of relish)

Method:
First, cut those beef or the veal, which should look like a long strip. Then, coat those meat with the flour and make sure you take off the extra flour from the meat. Dip in those meat in the egg mixture. Then, make a nice well mixed mixture of the following ingredients; basil, onion, garlic, ginger, wine vinegar/lemon juice, brown sugar, salt-pepper. Then, Place those meat in a baking tray and pour the mixture on them. Cover it up with a plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge for the next 2 hours. Take it out off the fridge. Drain off the extra marination from the meat. Deep fry them with the oil (Make sure the oil is hot). Serve hot with some carrot and green onion garnishes along with some side sauce mixture.
