Shredi Green Papaya

 Shredi Green Papaya        10 Portions:

Ingredients:
10 portions of (Cooked) rice or, Spaetzel

1.5 kg. of green papayas, peeled, seeds off, cut in half
1/2 cup of onions, fine wedges
2 tea spoon of garlic, chopped
2 tea spoon of ginger roots, chopped
1 tea spoon of turmeric powder
1 tea spoon of brown sugar
1 tea spoon of honey
1/2 cup of coriander/cilantro leaves, chopped
1 tea spoon of butter
1/2 cup of olive oil or, canola oil
2 tea spoon of parmesan cheese, grated
1 tea spoon of red chili flakes
1 tea spoon of fennel seeds
1/2 cup of water
salt-pepper

Method:
First, in a cooking pan, cook those onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chili & fennel seeds with the oil, on a medium heat for about 3 min. Then, you add the shredded g-papaya. Mix it well.  Add the water. Cook it for about 5 min.Add the b-sugar, honey, coriander /cilantro & butter. Mix it well. Season with salt-pepper. Serve hot with the rice or, spaetzel. A very healthy dish.
