Romano Sausage Chilli

Romano Sausage Chili        10 Portions:

Ingredients:
10 Pieces of garlic bread or, 10 servings of pasta (Any kind)


500 gm. of red kidney beans, canned, rinsed & drained
600 gm. of tomato puree
5 pieces of Bratwurst sausages, small squares
50 gm. of parmesan cheese, grated
1 tea spoon of rosemary
1 tea spoon of basil
1 tea spoon of  oregano
1 tea spoon of  paprika
2 tea spoon of garlic, paste
1 medium onions, fine chopped
1/2 cup of carrots, fine chopped
1/2 cup of celery, fine chopped
1 tea spoon of sugar
1/2 tea spoon of cumin, ground
1/2 cup of ketchup
3 tea spoons of Worcestershire sauce
50 ml. of olive oil
1 tea spoon of butter
1 cup of water
3-4 bay leaves
salt-pepper

Method:
First, cook those celery, garlic, onion & carrots with the oil on a medium heat for 4-5 min, (In a stock pot). Then, add everything else, except the B-Sausages, Parmesan cheese, brown sugar and salt-pepper. Continue cooking for about 45 min. on a low heat (Uncovered). Make sure you continue stirring the sauce in between. Then, add the B-Sausages & b-sugar. Cook for 2-3 more min. Season with salt-pepper. Serve hot with the garlic bread or, your choice of pasta.

NB:  If you do not like sausages, then you can re-place the Bratwurst sausages with some Chicken (Cooked, Cubes)
